This course provides candidates with the emergency first aid qualification.
This is the minimum qualification required for a person appointed by an employer to take charge of first aid arrangements. The course content includes:
• Definition of First Aid
• Actions in an emergency
• Breathing & circulation
• Airway obstruction
• CPR - Resuscitation
• Treatment of bleeding
• Dressings & bandages
• Treatment of shock

Award: The course is approved by the HSE. Successful completeion of a multiple choice test will
provide delegates with a Certificate in Emergency First Aid
